Vivek-Jivan is the bilingual monthly bulletin of the Mahamandal, which is being published continuously for over 45 years. Each issue of Vivek-Jivan has two sections: one in English and the other in Bengali. Every year in January and July, special issues of Vivek-Jivan are published as Camp Number and Annual Number respectively (Price: Rs. 15.00 each). The other issues are small, eight-page bulletins (Price: Rs. 3.00 each).
A special commemorative volume of Vivek-Jivan was brought out in January 2013 on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (Price: Rs. 50.00). This issue contains valuable articles on the ideas of Swami Vivekananda by senior monks of the Ramakrishna Order and other eminent persons.
Editorials of Vivek-Jivan deal with the ideas of the Mahamandal for applying Swami Vivekananda’s teachings for social and national reconstruction in the present context. All relevant issues are discussed and solutions indicated. Answers given to the questions asked by young campers at different youth training camps of the Mahamandal come in the section, ‘By Questioning’ (‘Pariprashnena’ in the Bengali section).
