The Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman, Birbhum, Bankura and Purulia District Zone of the Mahamandal arranged a Zonal Youth Training Camp on 4 - 6 March, 2022 at Lowa, Purba Bardhaman. Shri Somnath Bagchi, General Secretary of the Mahamandal inaugurated the camp by hoisting the Mahamandal Flag and delivered a speech in the inaugural session. Dr. Tapas Kumar Mondal of Bardhaman Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal and Shri Manas Mondal of Bhatra Vivekananda Yuva Pathachakra also spoke in this session. Shri Nirmalendu Jana, Zonal In-charge gave the welcome address. After the inaugural session, Shri Partha Mishra presented devotional songs. Evening session of this camp was open to all and a large number of people attended this programme. After evening prayer on 5 March, Shri Somnath Bagchi delivered a speech on the subject; ‘Relevance of life and message of Swami Vivekananda in the present day’. After his speech, Shri Dipak Kumar Pal of Asansol Vivekananda Yuva Pathachakra presented devotional songs. On 6 March, Shri Amit Kumar Dutta, one of the Assistant General Secretaries of the Mahamandal spoke on universal message of Sri Ramakrishna in the evening session. Shri Narayan Majhi and Shri Srimanta Das presented patriotic songs. After this programme, campers told camp experiences in the farewell session. In this session, Srimat Swami Bharupanandaji, Headmaster, Asansol Ramakrishna Mission High School was the chief guest. The camp was attended by 138 youths.

The Annual Youth Rally of the Mahamandal on the occasion of the 160th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was held at Azad Hind Bag (Hedua Park), Kolkata on Sunday, 30 January 2022. The public meeting was started at 3-30 p.m. with Mahamandal anthem and Swadesh Mantra. Srimat Swami Ekachittananda, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Narendrapur was the Chief Guest at the meeting, which was presided over by Sri Basudeb Chattopadhyay, President of the Mahamandal. Sri Somnath Bagchi, General Secretary of the Mahamandal, gave the introductory speech. Smt. Pratima Naskar, Assistant Secretary of Sarada Nari Sangathan and Sri Tuhin Chattopadhyay, Secretary of Chowberia Branch of the Mahamandal also spoke at the meeting. Sri Basudeb Chattopadhyay delivered the presidential speech at the end. Sri Utpal Sinha of East Calcutta Branch of the Mahamandal and Sri Prithwish Biswas of Taraknagar Vivekananda Yuva Mahamandal
presented songs. This year also due to Covid -19 pandemic the processions were suspended but a ood number of people attended the meeting.
